Wannsee Conference in 100 Facts

The Gemlich Letter can rightfully be considered another “slab” in the “slab stack” that ultimately launched the “Holocaust Avalanche” because in this letter (as sacred to the Nazis as “Mein Kampf”) Adolf Hitler made two crucial statements.

Crucial to the “Holocaust Project” that is. First that it is absolutely necessary to find and implement the “final solution to the Jewish question”. And second, that the end result of this final solution must be the total and irreversible removal of all Jews from Germany. In other words, making Germany Judenfrei… or Judenrein.

He did not specify the specific method for achieving this objective… but it is not surprising – it just was not his style. Initially, Himmler (as the SS was the lead agency in the “Jewish question”) at that time suggested forced emigration – and Hitler agreed (one of the results was the famous Haavara Agreement).

Then Madagascar Plan was suggested… and Hitler agreed again. In April of 1941, Himmler suggested that all Jews who posed any threat on German-occupied territories of the Soviet Union, must be shot – and Hitler agreed again (which made him equally guilty of genocide).

Himmler suggested to expand “Holocaust by Bullets” to ALL Jews -men, women, children and the elderly – and Hitler agreed again. Himmler and Heydrich suggested murdering ALL Jews in German-controlled territories in killing centers (death factories) using poison gas – Hitler approved again.

The Gemlich letter refers to a letter written by Adolf Hitler in September of 1919 (right around the time he joined DAP) at the behest of Karl Mayr (Hitler’s boss at the time) to one Adolf Gemlich, a German Army soldier.

The addressee was not important – the letter was. It was important because it was the first known piece of antisemitic writing by Hitler and his first political piece. And, also because it demonstrates (beyond the reasonable doubt) his firm commitment to finding and implementing the “final solution of Jewish question”.

In the letter, Hitler argues that antisemitism should be based on facts… however, he (as usual) cites no facts – only baseless allegations against the Jews. He states that Jews are Jews were a race and not a religious group which meant that they should be persecuted accordingly (a major departure from established practice of anti-Semitism being religious in nature).

Hitler also called for a “rational antisemitism” which would not resort to pogroms or senseless violence. And delivered on his promise – aside from Kristallnacht (November pogrom of 1938 which was unavoidable), there were no Jewish pogroms in the Third Reich. All violence against the Jews in Nazi Germany (including the lethal one) was rational and even “scientific”- which made the Holocaust even more horrible. Diabolical, actually.

The Gemlich letter, however, is an enigma. Enigma because Hitler’s antisemitism appeared almost “out of nowhere”. In fact, prior to that letter, Hitler got along with Jews pretty well. His family physician was Jewish; his commanding officer in the Army was Jewish; he relied on Jewish middlemen to sell his pictures… and he respected all of the above. And suddenly, out of the blue… this.

Prominent historian Richard J. Evans stated that historians now generally agree that Hitler’s “notorious, murderous anti-Semitism” emerged well after Germany’s defeat in the Great War.

He believed that this was the product of the paranoid “stab-in-the-back” explanation for this catastrophe… which I find highly unlikely. Unlikely because he knew for a fact (he saw it with hie own eyes) that the Jews in the trenches were no less patriotic than Germans – and fought no less bravely or fiercely.

I think that his (at the time not yet murderous) anti-Semitism was the result of indoctrination by fiercely anti-Semitic Thule Society (and integral part of Hitler’s Transformation from a nobody into the most gifted and successful political entrepreneurs and statemen in modern times).

One of the most completely overlooked components of diabolical “Holocaust Project” was extermination through labor. Which is a surprise because the latter was explicitly mentioned in Wannsee Protocol as one of the key components of the “final solution of the Jewish question”.

Extermination through labor refers to (unofficial) Nazi practiced aimed at deliberately murdering “enemies of the Reich” without officially executing (or even unofficially shooting them). In short, by working them literally to death.

In practice, it meant that there were two distinct categories of prisoners in Nazi labor camp system (not all Nazi concentration camps were labor camps). Most were brought there to work for the Reich – mostly to support the war effort (prior to the outbreak of Second Great War there were no Nazi labor camps to speak of).

They still died of hunger, diseases, exhaustion… but it was not the objective of the Nazis. In fact, camp administration tried (not always successfully) to reduce mortality in labor camps due to dire labor shortages in the Reich.

The second category (mostly Jews) were brought to the labor camps specifically to be murdered through labor. They were deliberately placed in conditions so inhumane and treated so harshly that they died within a few months, weeks or even days of incarceration.

Contrary to claims made by some historians, there is no evidence that there was no deliberate extermination through labor in the Soviet Gulag. There were executions, sure (even mass murders); many prisoners were worked to death… but it was not on purpose. Every prisoner in the Gular was there to work for Stalin. Period.

However, the Gulag system did become a model for Nazi labor camps. By the time the latter system started to grow exponentially (after the outbreak of Second Great War in 1939), Gulag – the brainchild of Trotsky – was operational for over 20 years.

The first camps of what ultimately became the Gulag were set up in 1918 as pure concentration camps (invented by the Spanish and first used in Cuba in 1870s). These camps were intended to isolate and “re-educate” enemies of the Bolshevist regime. These camps became the model for Dachau and for the whole KL system.

The forced labor camps were first set up (also in 1918) by Trotsky to use the Czech POWs during the Civil War in Russia. Ultimately, up to 20 million spent time in the Gulag in 1920-1953 and up to two million died (half of the Holocaust).

Gulag was so enormous that it was impossible to keep it secret. So, there is no surprise that Nazis used it as a model for their forced labor camps system.

DAP was the “slab of all slabs” for the “Holocaust Avalanche” because to commit this genocide (serial mass murders) the conspirators had to (1) come to power in Germany; (2) transform the Weimar Republic into a totalitarian state; and (3) use this totalitarian system to implement this “final solution to Jewish question”.

After the dismal failure of the ill-conceived “Beer Hall Putsch”, Adolf Hitler swore to come to power in Germany in a strictly legal way – via the polls, Reichstag, etc. To make it happen, he would need his very own political party.

To the “shadow group” that run the Thule Society (committed to saving Germany, Europe and the whole human civilization from the “Judeo-Bolshevist” existential threat), it was obvious from the very beginning that in Weimar Republic the legal way was the only way (numerous coups proved it beyond the reasonable doubt).

So, they created DAP (via key members of Thule Society) … but in order to do its job, it had to become the “totalitarian party” (Bolshevist-style – in fact, Bolshevist party became the model for DAP and then for NSDAP). To make it happen, DAP needed Der Führer – and Thule Society gave it one. Adolf Hitler.

To just about any historian (“professional” or “amateur”) Adolf Hitler is an enigma. Enigma because there is still no explanation for his radical transformation (which happened sometime in summer of 1919).

A nobody; a loser; a mediocrity that never showed any talent of gift whatsoever, suddenly became the most successful (alas, mostly in a negative sense) political entrepreneur – and subsequently a statesman – in modern times. Some even claim that some magic (even black magic) was used to make it happen.

There was no magic, of course – neither “black” nor “white”. Only some (very advanced for that time) psychology. It is a well-known fact that every human being operates at 10% of his or her maximum performance (at best).

There are methods, tools and techniques to make a human being operate at almost 100% of one’s potential (and even develop abilities considered super-human) … but they do not work on everyone.

They work only on very specific individuals… besides, in this case, Thule Society needed someone with very specific hidden talents. So, they had to conduct some pretty serious search.

I would surmise that this search commenced in early May of 1919 – right after the annihilation (to a significant extent by the efforts of Thule Society) of a hellish Bavarian Soviet Republic. Which – combined with the founding of Comintern – made this search very, very urgent.

It probably took Thule Society a month or so to zero in on Adolf Hitler; they made him an offer they could not refuse… and by the end of summer of 1919, Hitler’s Transformation was complete.

There was another man who got their attention – a young (he was 18 at the time) Heinrich Himmler (for a few months the future SS-Reichsfuhrer worked for Freikorps Oberland – essentially the military wing of Thule Society).

Himmler also underwent Transformation to become one of the most successful (again, mostly in a negative sense) organizational engineers in modern times. It happened several years later – and I will talk about it in detail in the next sections.

Nazi Germany (Third Reich) was the Führerstaat (Führer’s State) – and NSDAP was Führer’s Party. Consequently, it can be argued that Thule Society supplied Adolf Hitler with DAP – not the other way around.

In addition, Thule Society supplied Hitler with a lot of money (which came from many different sources); key personnel (Rudolf Hess, Alfred Rosenberg, Hans Frank, Julius Lehmann, Gottfried Feder, Dietrich Eckart, Karl Harrer, etc.); education, training and coaching (by Dietrich Eckart), invaluable connections (ditto)… and even the newspaper Völkischer Beobachter – the absolute must for any political power (and leader) who intend to come to power.

Thanks to Thule Society, Hitler acquired many talents… alas, being grateful was not one of them. He never acknowledged any help that he got from the outside and after he became Der Führer of NSDAP in 1921, he severed all ties with Thule Society. The latter did not mind much – its job was done and by 1925 it was gone.

Did the Thule Society want Hitler to kill all Jews under German control? We do not know. They did instill in him the need to make Germany Judenfrei, but he approved the decision to kill all Jews in 1941 when Thule Society was long gone (there is no evidence of any external influence on Hitler at that time).

Sister Pascalina (secretary and confidant of Pius XII) allegedly claimed that the latter met Hitler in 1920 and even gave him a blessing to fight Bolshevism. I find it highly unlikely because Hitler was never sufficiently Catholic to meet the Pope. True, Hitler, Himmler and Eugenio Pacelli (future Pope Pius XII) were in Munich at the same time in 1919, but there is no evidence that they met.

Did you read about 2025 movie "The World Will Tremble"

No, but I know the story of that camp (it was death factory, actually) - and of that escape. There will be at least three sections in my book that will cover Chelmno - and I might some day complete the novel (in Russian) about that camp and Lodz ghetto that I started to write a year or so ago. The title of the novel is "The First Hell".

I wrote two novels about the Holocaust (Seven days in September and Sonderfuhrerin) and one non-fiction book (about Jewish pogroms) - all in Russian. There are also chapters on Shoah in my flagship novel (Night and Fog) and in some other fiction of mine - also in Russian. As well as in non-fiction (Alien vs. Predator: Hitler vs. Stalin - also in Russian).

I am done with writing fiction and in writing in Russian (I might complete only the novel on Chelmno) - now I intend to write only non-fiction (mostly historic) and in English. After the book on Wannsee Conference, I might complete the book on Knights Templar (I hate leaving unfinished projects) and write five more books on Holocaust: on death camps, Einsatzgruppen, "Holocaust by Bullets", anti-Semitism and the whole "Holocaust Project" ("Final Solution"). All in "... in 200 facts" format.

The Einsatzgruppen Trial (officially, The United States of America vs. Otto Ohlendorf, et al.) was the ninth of the twelve trials for war crimes and crimes against humanity that the US authorities held in their occupation zone in Germany in Nuremberg after the end of World War II. It was held in 1947-48.

These twelve trials were all held before US military courts, not before the International Military Tribunal (IMT) as the “main” Nuremberg Trial (although they took place in the same rooms at the Palace of Justice). The twelve US trials are collectively known as the “Subsequent Nuremberg trials” or, more formally, as the “Trials of War Criminals before the Nuremberg Military Tribunals” (NMT).

The Einsatzgruppen Trial was highly imperfect (to put it mildly). First, the defendants were charged only with crimes committed in the occupied Soviet Union (crimes committed in Poland where Einsatzgruppen murdered upwards of 100,000 Poles were ignored).

Second, no attempt was made to check the validity of so-called “Einsatzgruppen reports” which claimed that in 1941-43 Einsatzgruppen murdered around 2 million “enemies of the Reich”. In reality, death toll was roughly one-third of that (you must apply the “Nebe adjustment”) or about 700,000. Which does not change the essence and the nature of their crimes, obviously.

Third, although “genocide” was used by both the prosecution and by the judges in the verdict (the first time in legal context), genocide of the Jews was not mentioned specifically – the defendants were accused of genocide of “Soviet citizens”.

In reality, the only genocide committed by Einsatzgruppen in the Soviet Union was serial mass murder of Jews and of the Romani (the latter is still debatable). All other mass murders were “reprisals” to activities of Soviet guerillas (“partisans”).

All defendants were charged on all counts. All defendants pleaded “not guilty”. The tribunal found all of them guilty on all counts, except two, who were found guilty only in “membership in criminal organizations” (SS, SD or Gestapo). Of which SD – domestic intelligence service – was by no means criminal.

Fourteen defendants were sentenced to death. However, only four of them were executed (nine sentences were commuted – which was a miscarriage of justice, to put it mildly). One defendant – Otto Rasch, commanding officer of Einsatzgruppe C – was removed from the trial for medical reasons. He allegedly died on November 1, 1948 in his bed… however, his real fate appears to be VERY different.

Not initially, to be more precise. According to mainstream Holocaust historians, the sole objective of infamous Aktion 1005 (Sonderaktion 1005, to be more precise) was to destroy all physical evidence of serial mass murder that had taken place under Operation Reinhard – extermination of all Jews in Poland.

Ultimately, it did become the objective of Aktion 1005 but initially it had a very different objective. Aktion 1005 was ordered by RSHA chief Reinhard Heydrich in March of 1942, when all Operation Reinhard killing centers were operating at warp speed and when the probability of the Red Army ever getting to them was remote, to put it mildly.

Heydrich ordered Aktion 1005 because mass graves (which ultimately contained up to 800,000 bodies at Treblinka, 600,000 at Belzec, 320,000 at Chelmno and 250,000 at Sobibor) would create a very serious (to put it mildly) health hazard for Germans in occupied Poland.

For reasons still unknown, none of the abovementioned killing centers (unlike Auschwitz, Majdanek and death factories of Aktion T4) was equipped with crematoria – bodies were simply buried. Which – to be blunt – poisoned the environment to kingdom come.

Heydrich put in charge of Aktion 1005 recovering alcoholic Paul Blobel… and it appeared to be the right choice, because the latter did a reasonably good job. Prior to assuming command of Aktion 1005, SS-Standartenführer Blobel was allegedly responsible for killing 60,000 Jews as the commanding officer of Sonderkommando 4a of Einsatzgruppe C operating in Ukraine.

At Einsatzgruppen trial in 1948, he claimed that his unit killed “only” 15,000 – and most likely, was telling the truth. Which means that the actual death toll of “Holocaust by bullets” in the Soviet Union was even lower than 450,000 estimated by using the “Nebe adjustment”.

He was accused of pioneering the use of the gas vans in occupied Soviet territories, and developing the gas chambers for the extermination camps… however, none of these charges are true. At Einsatzgruppen trial he was convicted, sentenced to death and executed – and got what he deserved for murdering 15,000 civilians.

Aktion 1005 was initially scheduled to commence in late May or early June of 1942, but it was delayed indefinitely after Heydrich was attacked by British commandos on May 27 and subsequently (on June 4) died from reasons yet unknown.

Given that on the day of the attack Heydrich was to meet Hitler for a major reassignment (rumors were that he was become Protector of either occupied France or occupied Soviet Union) the possibility that he was murdered on Himmler’s orders (Heydrich was treated by Himmler’s personal physician Karl Gebhardt who declined to give Heydrich antibiotics essentially killing him) can not be excluded. True cause of death is still unknown.

It was only in the beginning of July that Heinrich Müller, head of the Gestapo, finally gave Blobel the order to proceed with Aktion 1005. Blobel started in August at Chelmno (which made sense as it has been in operation longer than any other killing center) and initially tried to use incendiary bombs (apparently obtained from Luftwaffe).

However, these attempts were unsuccessful, as the weapons set fire to nearby forests… and these bombs were in short supply anyway. The most effective way was eventually found to be giant pyres on iron grills.

The method involved building alternating layers of corpses and firewood on railway tracks. After the pyre burned down, remaining bone fragments could be crushed by pounding in a grinding machine and then re-buried in pits.

After his job at Chelmno was completed, Blobel moved his operations to Sobibor. Able-bodied Jewish prisoners exhumed the bodies from mass graves around the camp and then burned them; their work done; they were then executed. The process then moved to Belzec in November 1942 and then to Treblinka.

The “health care” operation became the criminal conspiracy to destroy evidence of serial mass murder in April of 1943, when mass graves of Polish officers murdered by NKVD in 1940 were discovered in Katyn forest.

Two months earlier, the Stalingrad disaster happened; so now the possibility of Red Army occupying Poland and discovering mass graves became very real. Now orders to complete Aktion 1005 came directly from Hitler.

By 1944, with Soviet armies advancing, each of the five districts of General Government territory was ordered set up its own Aktion 1005 commando to begin “cleaning” mass graves of murdered Jews and Poles. The operations continued until September 1944 but were not entirely successful, as the advancing Soviet troops reached some of the sites before they could be cleared.

Post-war history of the Wannsee House (also called Villa Minoux or Villa Marlier) is an excellent piece of evidence that proved that in a post-war Germany no one cared about the Holocaust (or the Jews for that matter) for decades.

The horrible truth about Wannsee Conference (and thus about the Wannsee House) was unveiled in 1947, when a copy of Wannsee Protocol was found by Robert Kempner, a U.S. prosecutor in the International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg, in files that had been seized from the German Foreign Office.

The West German government should have turned the Wannsee House into a museum right after the Federal Republic of Germany was founded on may 23, 1949… but it was not to be.

Instead, the villa was handed over to the Social-Democratic party who made into an educational center called the August-Bebel-Institute (ABI) whose objective was to “promote the development of democracy in post-war Berlin”.

For thirty years (1952-1982) Wannsee House was a school building – no surprise here, as ABI was an educational establishment. Only in 1982, Richard von Weizsäcker, then mayor of West Berlin (and subsequently President of Germany), designated the house a memorial. And only ten years later, on the 50th anniversary of the Wannsee Conference, the Wannsee House became an official museum and educational center.

I’ve visited the Wannsee House in 2018 – it looks (both inside and outside) like any other provincial country estate – a magnificent mansion built in the Italian country house style. Inside, the rooms are well-lit and elegant, giving no hint of the horrifying event that happened there.

It is still a school… of sorts – in addition to its numerous exhibitions, the Memorial and Educational Site offers a wide range of educational programs to learn about the history of the persecution and murder of the European Jews, the history of National Socialism, its prehistory and its consequences.

Of course, this education is really an anti-Nazi propaganda (as all official history of the Third Reich in Germany these days). I am a mystic so I felt the presence of… well, a lot of invisible and intangible entities who during Second Great War walked the Earth in human form. In addition, Wannsee House feels like a portal… to I have no idea, where.

Of course, it is all paranormal and supernatural – so, according to mainstream science, it is just a figment of my imagination.
