You feel sad for the poor girl, until the ending climax....

She works as a property clerk at a Mass Execution Site!!

IMDB reviews are radically different - some praise it, some say it is not worth seeing. It's on YouTube so I'll see for myself, I guess.

The movie is NOT watchable. First, it is grossly historically inaccurate - they glued Holocaust by bullets and Holocaust by gas and so produced a fairy-tale Hollywood style. Second, movie director had no clue how these structures operated in real life. Mood was very upbeat; personnel knew precisely what it was doing and was quite happy about it. Third, actng is horrible - in student theater it is far better (I played there - so I know).

It is a total waste of time - if you watch it to the end. I quit after 3 minutes. In short, it is a bunch of "banality of evil" BS. Holocaust was a diabolical evil for sure - but it was anything but banal.

I do agree with the acting, no personalities. Catatonic actors.

MGs were never used - too much valuable ammunation wasted. Germans used Mauser 98(k), locals used Mosin-Nagant. And such structures were NEVER used in Holocaust by bullets - only in death camps.
