No idea. Due to eye problems, I do not watch movies any more. BTW, the Chelmno movie that just came out - total trash. More errors in five minutes than in many movies in an hour.

I just discovered the Dembell WW2 movies scenes, Russian TV series "Taganrog"
Based on history in South east Ukraine 1941- 43. .

Yes! I agree with the Chelmno film: They handed out soap and towels before embarking the vans, no nudity.
The German SS having a Jewess girlfriend", shooting survivors inside the van with a machine gun, and so many other blunders!

I am not prefect myself, but they got their facts way off!!

Happened in Riga ghetto - and in Auschwitz (of all places). The latter had a happy ending for both - although they did not get married or even lived together... the former did not.

YES! I too read about an SS woman guard in Bergen Belsen, had a relationship with a Jewess.
After serving time in jail, 1949? she regained her affair. Wow!

I did read of a male jew who survived the gas van, remembering a trick from the military academy. (WW1?)
Placed with naked and semi naked victims, he urinated in his underwear and covered his mouth.
He later awoke inside the mass grave and escaped.

Did not happen - victims were packed so tightly into gas van that it was physically impossible inside and guards would not have allowed him to do it prior to entering the van... besides no one knew that they were entering gas van (no one knew these even existed- ruse worked perfectly). Oh, and urination will not protect from CO - only from combat poison gases. Why? Because in gas van victims died from asphyxiation - being deprived of oxygen - not from poisoning.

I did some thinking and came to a firm conclusion that there were NO survivors - neither in shootings nor in gas chambers (stationary or gas vans). It was physically impossible to survive - so all "survivors" are liars. I wrote an article (in Russian) and explain why it was NOT possible to survive.

Gosh, what a ray of sunshine you are.
I would like to think some of the survivors are real?
This is depressing to hear. I have read so many testimonies.
