Money, jewelry, rings are collected and sent to Berlin.

Despite their nudity. families hug and embrace one last time.

The Friedrich Jeckeln "Special Aktion" scenes 1941.
Local people often came and watched, something "Interesting" to view.
Many only 11 years old at the time, now 80+ elderly today.
My brain shivers!

Looking at the above post, I am reminded on this elderly woman.
She testifies about a mass grave about to be filled in by local workers.
Within the grave, a young woman calls out for help, begging an old boyfriend to help her.
The boyfriend, nor the group could save her because she was completely naked.
And guards were too near.
In 1942, the woman claims she was very upset.
Was she? (I ask myself)

On a political note: My wife and I are super excited by the new American running for president Kamala Harris.
Lady Harris is a game changer and Donald Trump is now going to struggle much harder. So grateful.

History Art:

Sri Lanka 2009, the long time civil war finally comes to an end. The coed men and women of the captured Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam (LTTE) is liquidated. Those caught in the net were undressed, blindfolded, hands bound and executed.
Their remains were later lined up and photographed "Trophy pics?"- videos too were leaked online.
Powerful history.

Mr Crumera did an amazing job.
