The undressing area is powerful to me, for they know what follows.
Surrounded by guns, steel helmets and K9 dogs, there was no choice but to undress!
Just wow!

Latvia June 13, 1942:

Rachel was a 34 year old seamstress earning a typical work day.
However the German SS Einsatzgruppen surrounded the city and
rounded up all registered jews for “resettlement”.
Rachel was dragged and pushed into the street and into an awaiting truck.
The truck transported Rachel and 12 complete strangers deep into the Latvian forest.
UNDRESS! Was shouted by the armed SS soldiers as Rachel fumbled with
her buttons. Shy of undressing in the open, she asks Why? What?
The soldiers remained mute, ignoring her questions.

Forced to undress completely, Rachel is pushed 30 meters into a
large dirt ravine. Frightened and confused, she pauses beside
an elderly retired couple praying for mercy.
Suddenly, Rachel hears an order “READY - AIM!....!”

Hours later inside the ravine, Rachel is joined by 347 naked corpses.
Men, women and entire families “resettled” to the east.

What is going on during their last moments?
Old and young side by side...

In 1941, there were those who tried to run away, usually the young without families.
Some made it, many did not...
